Strategy Meeting on Resource Mobilisation for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

ICSS convened a strategy meeting on resource mobilization for the Global Fund on 16-18 February 2011. The meeting was held in light of several key events, inter alia, the Global Fund Third Replenishment (2011-2013), which culminated in a pledging conference in New York in October 2010, the September 2010 MDG Review Summit and the forthcoming June 2011 UN High Level Meeting on Universal Access to HIV Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support. A bold, innovative coordinated global strategy is needed to assist the Global Fund in its resource mobilisation efforts for 2011-2013. The Amsterdam meeting marks the beginning of a process to design, plan and implement a global strategy for civil society advocacy.
