JOSEPH WATO

Joseph Wato

Joseph WATO is a Cameroonian who holds a Master's degree in International Relations and a Bachelor of Law with over a decade of experience working in NGO management. Joseph's relationship with the Global Fund began in 2016 as he worked to supervise community health workers in Cameroon in a 2015-2017 Malaria Global Fund grant and in 2018 having joined the Country Coordinating Mechanism of Cameroon representing Malaria CSOs.   

Joseph is also the Board Member of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria (RBM) representing Civil Society, member of the Developing Country NGO Delegation to the Global Fund Board (DCNGO) since 2020, Civil Society For Malaria Elimination (CS4ME), Civil Society Engagement Mechanism for the 2030 agenda (CSEM-UHC2030) and GFAN Africa.  

As a GFAN speaker, he hopes to share his extensive experience working on Malaria.
