Through a competitive process led by the Civil Society Representatives to the Stop TB Partnership Coordinating Board, 15 members were chosen to form the Affected Communities and Civil Society Advisory Panel. The purpose of this panel is for individuals representing TB affected community constituencies or individual representatives from organizations working with affected TB communities, to guide HLM community engagement, mobilize support and represent advocacy priorities of the communities they represent.
In order to streamline coordination and planning of the HLM itself, 8 Work Tracks were identified and created, under a Coordinating Group that is being led by the Stop TB Partnership. The Advisory Panel, together with International Civil Society Support (ICSS), who was awarded the role of Affected Communities and Civil Society Coordination Platform, form Work Track 6: Affected Communities and Civil Society.
Additionally, each member has the opportunity to act as a Focal Point within another Work Track, in order to ensure the voices of communities and civil society are heard throughout the HLM planning process. Below you can find the names of each of the Advisory Panel members, the region they represent, and the Work Track in which they are acting as Focal Point.
